Listr ("we," "us") is a tool for car salespeople that turns dealership website inventory into Facebook Marketplace listings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Plain English on purpose.
Account information. Your name, email, phone (optional), dealership name, and dealership website when you sign up.
Waitlist and invite signups. If you save a spot on our waitlist or receive an invite, we keep the name, email, and dealership details you gave us so we can open your account when your spot is ready. If you never activate, you can ask us to delete it anytime.
Inventory data. Vehicle information (year, make, model, price, mileage, VIN, photos, and similar) read from your dealership's public website in order to build your listings.
Listing activity. Which vehicles you post, renew, or remove, and when — so the tool can keep your listings current and take down sold cars. For account security, the extension also reports a random ID for the Chrome browser it's installed in and the numeric ID of the Facebook account you post with (never your password) — this helps us spot shared or misused accounts.
Bug reports and diagnostics. If you send a report, it includes your description plus a technical snapshot of the dealership page the extension was reading (website name, platform, what was detected). It never includes passwords.
Error reports. When something in the Listr extension breaks, it reports the error to us automatically: the error message, technical details of where in our code it happened, which website the extension was on (the site's address only — never the full page or its contents), and the extension version. We use Sentry, an error-monitoring service, to process these reports so we can fix problems fast.
Your own AI key (optional). If you choose to plug in your own AI provider key, we store it to make requests on your behalf. You can remove it at any time in Settings.
Your key is stored encrypted — someone with access to our database still could not read it. Removing it in Settings deletes it.
We do not collect your Facebook password — the extension works inside your own logged-in Chrome browser. We do not read or collect your browsing history; the extension only acts on your dealership's website and on facebook.com Marketplace pages. We do not sell your data to anyone.
To run the service: importing your inventory, generating listing descriptions, posting on your instruction, keeping listings fresh, providing support, and sending you service and onboarding communications.
Only the service providers that make Listr run, and each receives only what it needs to do its job: cloud hosting (Render), database (Supabase), our customer-relationship system (HighLevel) — the emails we send you are also logged there on your customer record, so our support team has context when you write in — backup email delivery (Resend), error monitoring (Sentry), and AI providers used to write listing descriptions (Anthropic; OpenAI if you bring your own OpenAI key). When paid plans begin, payments will be processed by Stripe, and your card number will never touch Listr's servers.
Listr automates actions in your own browser, in your own Facebook session, on your instruction — like a very fast assistant using your keyboard. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings and for complying with Facebook's terms and Commerce Policies.
Listr is a team tool. What you do in it — cars you post, remove, or queue, and imports you run — is visible to your dealership's owner and admins on their dashboard. Your password is never visible to anyone, including us.
We keep your data while your account is active. Email us to delete your account and its data, and we will.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small.
The Listr dashboard uses exactly one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It contains no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and nothing about your browsing outside Listr. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies anywhere.
Listr is for working adults in the car business. It is not directed at children under 16.
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new effective date.
